Consistently rated one of the best outdoor cities in America, Chattanooga boasts a world class rowing venue in the beautiful Tennessee River and countless miles of scenic outdoor adventure right at our doorstep. To add to your enjoyment Chattanooga's restaurant, cafe,  and brewery scene is top-notch. 

 

So, come join us on the water!

 

The adventure will start Friday morning as you meet our knowledgeable coaches and Hydrow Crew. We'll get you oriented around our boathouse and facilities and introduce you to techniques as they relate to water rowing. You will shake off your travel tension with an ERG session to warm you up and so we can talk about comparable techniques.

Part of each midday will be free for you to explore the city and local hikes in between your rowing sessions.

 

For returnee Scullapalooza-ers, we will get you on the water right away so you can reintroduce yourself to the river.

 

Friday's rowing program will end with us getting everyone into boats for an early sunset row. By now you will have worked up quite an appetite and the city's food and entertainment scene awaits.

 

Saturday's program will follow much the same schedule but with more time on the water and fine tuning of technique throughout the day.

 

By Sunday you will be excited for your morning communion with the river and sad to have to leave it at midday.

 

Rowing is an exquisite sport in a natural and sometimes unpredictable element. The Tennessee River has a heart of its own and there may be days where it is not possible to safely get on the water. If this is the case we will have alternate events.
